Issue 1 of Volume 18, Year 2016 of the Economic Horizons scientific journal contains two original scientific papers, three review papers and a book review.

In addition to the endeavors of the Journal Editorial Board aimed at improving the quality of the published contributions, as well as at increasing the visibility of the Journal through its inclusion in the referent bases of the academic journals EconLit, EBSCO, DOAJ, Cabell’s Directories, ProQuest ABI/INFORM, Index Copernicus, Ulrich’s Web, we point out – particularly in relation to the openness of the Journal for scientific contributions from abroad – that the five scientific papers written by the authors from abroad (China, India, Ukraine) (33.33% of the total number of the published scientific papers in the Journal, in 2015) have been published in Volume 17 of the Economic Horizons after the double blind review process and revisions.

Issue 2 of Volume 17, Year 2015 of the Economic Horizons scientific journal contains three original scientific papers and two review papers, the preliminary communication, a book review and the acknowledgements to the reviewers of the manuscripts submitted to the Editorial Board of the Journal in 2014.

At the beginning of this Editorial, we would like to inform the domestic and international academic community that, since March this year, and along with EconLit, EBSCO, Cabell’s Directories, ProQuest ABI/INFORM, Index Copernicus and Ulrich Web, the Economic Horizons has been included in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) – an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals.

In addition to the endeavors of the Journal Editorial Board aimed at improving the quality of the published contributions as well as increasing the visibility of the Journal through including it in the referent bases of the academic journals EconLit, EBSCO, Cabell’s Directories, ProQuest ABI/INFORM, Index Copernicus, Ulrich’s Web, we point out – particularly in relation with the openness of the Journal for scientific contributions from abroad – that the six original scientific papers written by the authors from abroad have been published in the Volume 16, Issues 1, 2 and 3 of the Economic Horizons, after the double-blind review process and revisions.

Issue 2 of Volume 16, Year 2014 of the Economic Horizons scientific journal contains three original scientific papers, two review papers, a book review, two viewpoints and the acknowledgements to the reviewers of the manuscripts submitted to the Editorial Board of the Journal, in 2013.

Issue 1 of Volume 16, Year 2014 of the Economic Horizons scientific journal contains four original scientific papers, one review paper, a book review, and the announcement of the international scientific conference.

Issue 3 of Volume 15 of the Economic Horizons scientific journal contains three original scientific and two review papers and a book review. Also, given the fact that, within Volume 15, this issue represents the final one of the Journal, it includes the Subject Index of the papers and the List of the Authors and Titles of all the contributions published in Economic Horizons during 2013.

The Volume 15, Number 2 of the Economic Horizons scientific journal contains three original scientific and two review papers, one book review, and Acknowledgements to the reviewers of the manuscripts submitted to the Editorial Board of the Journal in 2012.

The Volume 15, Number 1 of the scientific journal Economic Horizons contains three original scientific and four review papers, and one book review.
